Utthaan Global Foundation believes that every child deserves an equal opportunity to education, dignity, and the fulfillment of their dreams. Driven by this mission, we work continuously with approximately 50 economically underprivileged children living in the slum areas of Punjab.

Our endeavor is not merely to teach children, but to bring about a positive transformation in their lives so that they can become self-reliant, educated, and responsible citizens.

What We Do

We provide the following services free of cost to the children and their families:

• Free Tuition: Regular and quality education.
• Free Nutritious Meal: Nutritious meals along with studies, ensuring no child is deprived of learning due to hunger.
• Career Guidance: Guiding children toward their future direction based on their interests and capabilities.
• Higher Education Support: Information and guidance on higher education, scholarships, and further learning opportunities.
• Life Skills & Values: Development of self-confidence, discipline, hygiene, leadership, and social values.

Our Vision

Our target is not limited to 50 children. In the coming years, we aim to reach out to more underprivileged children, providing them with education, nutrition, and the promise of a better future.

Success Story – “When a Notebook Awakened a Dream”

Living in a small slum in Punjab, Aryan used to watch his parents leave every morning to scavenge for waste along the nearby streets, neighborhoods, and roads. This was the sole source of livelihood for his family. Despite their grueling hard work throughout the day, there were times when there wasn’t enough food at home for the entire family to eat their fill.

Aryan gradually came to believe that dreaming was perhaps a luxury for children born into poverty. Going to school had become a daily struggle. Sometimes there were no books, sometimes no notebooks, and at times, hunger completely overwhelmed his studies. Ultimately, he quietly decided that it would be better to drop out of school altogether.

It was around this time that the UGF team reached out to meet the children and families in the community. During our door-to-door awareness campaign, we met Aryan and his family. Through our conversation, we learned that financial distress was bringing his education to the brink of termination. The team explained the profound importance of education to his parents and invited Aryan to attend our free tuition center.

Aryan arrived at our center the very next day.

On that day, he received not just a notebook and some textbooks, but also a renewed conviction—that his future would be determined by his education and hard work, not by his poverty.

UGF provided him with free tuition, daily nutritious meals, learning materials, personalized guidance, and a safe environment filled with respect, a sense of belonging, and the motivation to excel.

Initially, Aryan was very quiet. He kept to himself and lacked confidence in his abilities. Over time, however, the affection of the teachers, constant encouragement, and consistent studies reawakened the latent confidence within him. Today, he sits at the front of the classroom, asks questions, participates in competitions, and even inspires his friends to study.

Today, Aryan attends school regularly, secures excellent grades, and dreams of becoming a teacher when he grows up, so that he too can bring the light of education to children going through the same hardships he once faced.

When asked how he feels about his future now, there was a distinctive gleam in his eyes. He smiled and said—
